ECOCIENCIA Scientific Journal was founded in December 2014 by Universidad Tecnológica ECOTEC in Samborondón, Ecuador, and has published all of its content free of charge since 2017. The journal aims to disseminate the most relevant research findings produced by faculty members, researchers, and students, while also fostering academic debate and critical reflection among its target audience. It publishes a wide range of scholarly contributions, including research articles, reflection articles, and review articles. In addition, the journal publishes technical reports, conference communications, state-of-the-art reviews, letters to the editor, among other types of academic contributions.
