Stage 1: Preliminary Review

  1. Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted anonymously through the Open Journal System (OJS).

Submissions must include:

  • The manuscript with no author-identifying information.
  • A separate author form containing:
  • Full names of all authors
  • Institutional affiliations
  • Email addresses

 

  1. Editorial Screening

The Editorial Committee conducts an initial assessment to verify:

  • Originality – The work must be unpublished and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Relevance – The manuscript must align with the journal’s thematic areas.
  • Structure & Format – The article must follow the journal’s structure and author guidelines.
  • APA Style – All formatting must adhere to APA 6th edition standards.
  • Plagiarism Check – The manuscript is reviewed using COMPILATIO software.
  • A maximum similarity index of 10% is allowed.

 

  1. Grounds for Immediate Rejection
  • Topic is outside the journal’s scope.
  • The manuscript is not original or has already been published.
  • The structure or formatting is inadequate.
  • APA style is not correctly applied.
  • The submission is incomplete.

  1. Initial Review Timeline
  • This phase may take up to 30 calendar days.
  • Authors will be notified via email whether the manuscript proceeds to peer review or is rejected.

 

Stage 2: Double-Blind Peer Review

  1. Assignment of Reviewers
  • Manuscripts that pass the initial review are assigned to two external reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area.
  • Reviewers are selected through public calls or direct invitations.
  • Authors may not suggest reviewers.
  • Reviewers are not remunerated, but receive a certificate of recognition.
  1. Reviewer Qualifications
  • Must hold a postgraduate degree (Ph.D., Master's, or Specialization).
  • Must demonstrate experience in the journal’s research fields.
  • Must have peer-reviewed publications in indexed journals.

  • Reviewers receive anonymized manuscripts via the OJS platform.

  • Authors are informed by email about the acceptance or rejection of their article.
  • If accepted, the publication date is communicated.

 

Total Review Duration

  • The entire peer review process may take up to 12 weeks.
  • From submission to final publication, the total process may extend to 24 weeks, depending on issue scheduling and reviewer availability.

 

Transparent Communication

  • Authors are notified of delays in evaluation.
  • If delays become extended, authors may request to withdraw their manuscript.
